Нарешті школярі дочекалися закінчення навчального року. Кожного року вони з нетерпінням чекають цього дня, щоб на деякий час забути про навчання, веселитися, проводити час з друзями.

Саме з нагоди закінчення навчального року дитячо-молодіжний центр «Разом - сильніші» організував вечір відпочинку.

Pedestrian pilgrimage “Steps to Changes” of handicapped children and youth, their families’ members, friends and caring people took its finish in Sambir on May 22. The action was being mutually held by Charity Foundation “Caritas SDE” and Drohobych Volunteer Association of Invalids’ Rights Protection “Hope” (“Nadiya”).

The aim was to attract the attention of people to problems of persons with physical and mental disability, to model respect and decent attitude to them, as they are the most in-need-for-love category, longing for support and feel of self-importance.

On May 21, 2010 a two-day pedestrian pilgrimage of people with special needs “Steps to Changes” has started in Drohobych and longed for Sambir Holy Mother.

The pilgrimage began by the Divine Liturgy in the Pastoral Youth Center.

On behalf of municipal council the pilgrims were accompanied by delegates of Drohobych Children and Youth Department, Mr. Bohdan Prystai and Mrs. Oksana Machyshyn, who handed the flowers to be put under the icon of the Holy Mother.

Over 40 pilgrims started in Drohobych. Among the participants are: disabled persons, their custodians, as well as all the people who pray for people with special needs.

All of us wonder about our future and dream of its becoming bright. But it depends totally upon us. Therefore, we should act today to achieve the goals tomorrow.
